The second semester takes students from general management towards their chosen area of specialization. Along with core subjects such as Financial Management, Organizational Behaviour, Strategic Marketing and Strategic Management, students begin specialization-based learning. Finance students can explore areas such as Financial Markets & Services, Project Appraisal, Micro Finance, Corporate Tax Planning and Security Analysis & Portfolio Management.

Semester

DEEPEN YOUR EXPERTISE

The third semester strengthens managerial capabilities while providing deeper specialization. Core learning includes Business Ethics, Legal Aspects, Operations Research and Management Control Systems, supported by an Open Elective. Finance students can build advanced knowledge through Mergers & Acquisitions, Personal Finance & Tax Planning, International Financial Management, GST and Derivatives Market & Risk Management. Students complete 30 credits, preparing them for professional and industry-oriented learning.

Semester

THE FINAL STAGE – INDUSTRY-BASED LEARNING

The fourth semester is dedicated to the Industry Based Research Project (IBRP). Students undertake a four-month full-time industry-based research activity, guided by both faculty and an industry professional. The project carries 10 credits, including the research report and viva-voce, providing students an opportunity to apply their MBA knowledge to a real organisational or industry problem.
